The Douglas Premier Portable Pickleball System is built for facilities and clubs that want permanent-net performance without a permanent installation. It's the closest you can get to an in-ground system's durability and feel, with no drilling and no concrete pour. Built on the same 3" square steel post design as the Douglas Premier tennis posts, the system uses an included Velcro center strap to hold the correct 34" center net height for true regulation play.

- Rugged Steel Construction - 3" square, 11-gauge steel posts and a 3/16" wall, 11-gauge, 3" square steel base frame; finished in a black baked-on polyester powder coat that resists rust indoors or out.
- Near-Permanent Net Tension - An internal wind, self-locking gear mechanism (30:1 ratio) tensions the net to 400 to 500 lbs, well beyond the roughly 20 lbs typical of most portable systems.
- Flat Stabilizer Legs - Braces extend just 12" from each end post, opening up a wider range of play and reducing trip hazards courtside.
- Transporter Wheel Assembly - Heavy-duty, non-scuff swivel casters make it easy to roll the system on and off the court. Brackets flip up out of the way during play, and the wheel assembly detaches by loosening two bolts.
- Lift-Assist Handles - Built into the end posts so flipping the transporter brackets up or down is quick and easy.
- Straightforward Assembly - Post and base frame pieces slide into place and lock with pre-drilled set screws. There are no small parts to lose, and only a couple of common tools are needed.
