• Permanent In-Ground Installation — Stanchions are designed to be securely anchored into the ground for maximum stability. Anchoring hardware is not included; concrete anchoring is recommended for permanent outdoor installations.

• Modular Panel Construction — Pit walls are built using 4-foot sections of double-stacked 12" playground borders, creating a total assembled wall height of 28". This height is optimized for ball rebound and easy player entry and exit.
• 28" Wall Height — Double-stacked 12" borders mounted on 4" stanchions create a consistent 28" wall height, providing reliable ball rebound and a clear play boundary for all three pit sizes.
• Raised Panel Design — The proprietary stanchion system elevates panels 4" off the ground, making it easier to clear out debris and maintain a clean play surface.
• PVC-Coated Stanchions — All stanchions are PVC coated for added durability and corrosion resistance. Note: when installed on concrete or abrasive surfaces, coating wear over time may expose underlying metal, which can be susceptible to rust.
• Recycled Plastic Panels — Border panels are constructed from durable recycled plastic; splinter-free and resistant to ticks, termites, and insects. Suitable for outdoor use in all climates.

Installation Note

The permanent in-ground model is intended for outdoor installations where the stanchions will be anchored securely into the ground. Anchoring hardware is not included and must be sourced separately. Concrete anchoring is strongly recommended for long-term stability in high-use environments. For facilities installing on concrete or rough paved surfaces, please note that surface contact can cause PVC coating wear over time, which may expose the underlying metal to moisture and rust. Facilities with high seasonal use should inspect stanchion coating annually.
